Here's a shot of the heatsinks replaced and the case almost ready to be closed up. Only time will tell if it worked or not! The only thing left to be put in before finishing up is the disc drive.
So, after reassembling my console, it worked! I was so relieved to see those green lights light up! The $25 option for fixing the problem was much better received!
