Psychological Testing

I did my psych test yesterday at the LRPS station. It's called the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory (MMPI). It's a pretty long test too - 567 true/false questions! There are a lot of repeat questions and questions where they will ask the same question in a different way. They're looking for consistency over the whole test. After the tests are marked, they'll determine if you need to come in for a follow-up visit with the psychologist. I'm pretty sure that almost all of the applicants come in for the follow-up visit. It only took me an hour and 15 minutes to finish the test this time. It went pretty quick, but it felt like I remembered most of the questions and not many of them had changed this time around.

When I finished the test, Cst. Borthwick's assistant Brette Gibb told me Cst. Borthwick would call me and let me know how I did and if I'm continuing on in the process. I think I did pretty good on the test today, so I'm not foreseeing any holdups at this point in the process. We'll have to see!
